Hogannovare Limited ("we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16322308. Our registered office is 7 The Grove, South Elmsall, Pontefract, England, WF9 2PE. 2. What information we collect

Enquiries: when you use our contact form, email or phone us, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the details of your enquiry, for example the equipment or fault you want help with.

Work and contracts: if you hire us, or we place an engineer with you, we hold the business contact details, site details and records needed to quote, carry out and invoice the work.

Website usage: our website is hosted by Squarespace, which collects technical data such as IP address, browser, device and the pages visited, using cookies and similar technologies.

We do not collect payment card details through this website.

3. How and why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and provide quotes. Our legal basis is your request to us and our legitimate interest in running our business.

To carry out contracts, invoice you and keep accounting records. Our legal basis is performing a contract and meeting our legal obligations.

To keep the website secure and understand how it is used. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest.

To send news or updates, only if you have ticked the box to receive them. Our legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

Only people who help us run the business: our website host (Squarespace), our email and IT providers, our accountant, and the self-employed engineers or contractors working on a job with you where they need your site details. We share information with authorities only where the law requires it. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, in which case we rely on appropriate safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 12 months. Records of work done and invoices are kept for 6 years to meet tax and legal requirements. We then delete them.

6. Cookies

The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work and, where you allow them, cookies that measure how it is used. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the banner, and you can change your browser settings to block cookies, although some features may not work.
